Kim Steele - tips

1. Practice!!!!
2. Be patient. Some of the tools take time to figure out.
3. Get help. A book, the internet, a friend. Some of the tools are impossible to figure out on your own.
4. Have fun! PS can do some cool stuff.
5. Don't be afraid to experiment.
6. The history panel is your friend. Know it. Use it.
7. Layers!!! You can do neat things with multiple layers. Changing the opacity, applying filters. All kinds of stuff.
8. Duplicate. You can also do fun stuff by duplicating layers. You can enhance colors and do other nifty things.
9. Use camera raw. There are some things you can only do in camera raw and other things that work better there then in PS.
10. Did I say practice? You aren't going to be am expert overnight. It takes time, and, once again, PRACTICE!!!!!
