This picture was a little too blue and the bruise between his eyes and redness around the mouth needed to be fixed. First I opened the image in Camera Raw. I played with all the temp, tint, exposure, etc. settings until I liked the way it looked. I also messed with sharpening it a little. Then I moved to Photoshop and I used the spot healing brush and spot healing tool to repair the bruising and red areas. That's all it took to fix the rare picture with a cute smile.
Much better. He looks more lively now. I don't have much for criticism here. Perhaps you could clone out the vine over his right eye on his forehead(viewers left). Looks great.
