In case of mistakes:
1. Always work on a copy of your image so that you don't lose the original.
2. Duplicate the background and work on the copy.
3. Use the history tool. If you mess up that is an easy way to go back.
To learn:
4. Practice makes perfect. It will get easier the more you use it.
5. Experiment. Playing with the tools will help you learn.
6. If you want to be super awesome, go get the mat to lay over your keyboard that has all the shortcuts.
7. Work with pixel masks. They can be tricky. The more you use them the easier it will become.
8. Google. There are all kinds of tutorials that will help you figure it out.
9. Layers. Learn how to use layer styles. Change the opacity. There are all kinds of cool things you can do with layers.
10. Check out the filter gallery. It is super cool. All kinds of fun stuff in there.
